Coming to the end of our 2 fantabulous (yes that's right fabulous or fantastic weren't quite enough) weeks in Knoydart and the small isles. ⁠

We've had multiple wildlife sightings, swims in new locations, walking above our own expectations and having quite honestly the most wonderful weather to accompany it all! ⁠
⁠
Exploring the small isles is always a complete pleasure. We call it an adventure because we never quite know how the week's will turn our or what the weather gods have in store. The past two weeks we've had almost free reign of what we wanted to do and have been pinching ourselves with the complete bliss experienced. ⁠

It's been a complete pleasure having you all with us for these adventures and hope to see all of you again soon. ⁠

Have you ever had a swim that truly took your breath away? ⁠

This one was a particular highlight from our first week in the small isles. Al; Alice's husband (not confusing at all!) has been wanting to take Alice here for numerous years. He's guided many walking tours here, but not managed a swim one until now.⁠
⁠
It was a 2 hour hike to get to this one, some finding it more challenging than others, but on getting to this spot there wasn't an inch of remorse. This was a swim to end all swims. ⁠
⁠
This lochen is based near one of the highest points on Eigg, overlooking Muck and Rum from the water. A spectacular swim in freshwater surrounded by the flat calm sea below. ⁠
⁠
You couldn't hear a soul up there and felt like we were in the heavens. Our own clifftop infinity pool and all made possible by the walking knowledge bank that is Al. Having a mountain guide in the SwimWild arsenal is a gift that keeps on giving! ⁠

We're well into our second week of the Knoydart and isles adventure. Plenty of sun, swimming and even lifeguard Al couldn't resist the temptation of a dunk!
