Introduction to Open Water Swimming Course
Would you like to get into open water swimming? If the answer is YES then this course is for you! Our Introduction to Open Water Swimming course is a great way to start your outdoor swimming journey. With small groups and friendly, experienced coaches we make it easy for you to get into the water and start loch swimming!
Duration: The course will run for approximately 2 hours
Who is this course for?
SwimWild’s Introduction to Open Water Swimming course is suitable for complete beginners who are making the transition from the pool to outdoor swimming, as well as open water swimmers who want to gain confidence or refresh their skills.
*Wetsuits are optional*
Please note that on certain dates we also offer an Open Water Skills course for more experienced swimmers and those participating in triathlons and open water races/events. Please get in touch if you are not sure which course to choose.
The Introduction to Open Water Swimming course includes both dry land and in-water sessions.

Please note that wetsuits hire is NOT included, but can be arranged with prior notice.

We are also happy to organise additional dates for small groups. If you have a group of 4 or more people and would like to arrange an alternative date please contact us.

Please note that this course is for adults only (18+). If you have a child who is interested in open water swimming please contact us and we can discuss options.
